  1. Do you have a nice large memory card, like a 2GB?  They are $10 each on sale today.

When there is no card in your camera and the internal memory is full, nothing will happen

  2. WalMart has the sale on their computer. Stand on line and don't move 'till they look it up and give you a replacement receipt and a new camera. The key work here is "Manager". Good morning, "manager", how can I help, "manager', you'll have to step aside for a moment, "Manager".

  3. A Prime Example..

    Don't Loose The Receipt..

You needed that receipt in order to take it back to walmart for a refund, or even a sanyo warranty, but you can't do this now, because you don't have the receipt anymore. However, you can go back to the walmart you got it from, and they might have your receipt it database, and they may be able to reprint it ( the receipt )

If they can't, there's virtually nothing you could do, except try to troubleshoot with the camera:

    http://sanyo.com/

that's sanyo's website, see what you can find, it's so sorry that this happened to your camera, next time, just don't loose the receipt, it's very important, be more responsible next time, but this happens to everyone once in a while, they just throw away the receipts.

Oh, and they wouldn't just take it back, they would send it off, you wouldn't get your money back from them, only if you didn't open it up yet, which you already did. But, if you find the receipt you could make a warranty claim :)
