Anyone who is a photographer please help me.

Any good tips or advice when taking pictures with a digital camera?

I'm not sure what I would like to photograph; how did you decide what you wanted to take pictures of?

  1. It is a CAMERA.  You should take pictures of the same subjects you would with a film camera.

You should tend to use it in the same way you might with any other camera.  If the digital camera has features that you didn't have before, then you should learn how to use those features to take even better photos.

Read the manual, and practice using ALL the features.  The great advantage of the digital camera is that you can practice taking HUNDREDS of images and you don't have to worry about the cost of film and processing.  This practice will soon make you an EXPERT at using your camera and HAS to make you a better photographer.

  2. take lots of pictures but not just pictures look at somthing and thing what would make the stand out or not its up to you.

ex a tree put it to one of the sides or center it. you can also put it in focus or out of focus. put the sun behind the tree or something that will make a good picture.

also after you take a picture look at it and think is this a pic someone would hang up on a wall. or even buy.

you want good composition and lighting. brightness and contrast can be adjusted in a photoshop to make them better.

  3. take pictures of everything and lots of them. That's the beauty of digital- if you're not happy with certain pictures, just erase and try again.

  4. think of something else you enjoy besides photography.

    take pictures of that!

for example, i'm reallyyy into music and going to shows and things, so i started doing concert photography and promotional pictures for local bands.

so if you like, say, horse riding, start taking pictures of someone you know riding a horse.

usually when you take pictures of something you really, truely enjoy, you'll end up putting more effort into making it look good. :]

as for good tips, just look up a beginner's photography guide either online or in a bookstore. that will help you out a whole lot, and you'll be able to keep it for future reference!

good luck, and remember to have fun with it!
