does it get all channels cable does?

I mean it sells for like over $200

So, if u were to get it, it would get local channels

perfectly clear right?

sO CAN IT GET CHANNELS CABLE DOES TOO?

  1. You only get the same programs you can get with analog over the air reception plus usually a few more that are similar in nature, like some extra PBS sub-channels. The picture quality is much better though.

    The boxes connect between your TV antenna and TV.

    You will not get cable TV channels. Nor will these coupon type converters work with any major cable TV system.

    Where do you get this $200 price? Mine cost $20 (with $40 off coupon) and it's one of the best models. Even if you wanted a HD tuner for a "HD Ready" TV, a good Samsung is only about $170.

    You can check the Yahoo TV section and find out what your local digital broadcasts are.

    Only for over the air TV broadcasts. Cable and satellite service is not changing on 2/17/09. And when/if cable systems go all digital, they use a different type of "box".


  2. You can only get cable channels if you subscribe to cable tv.
