if i have the dvd version is it going to be worth getting the blu ray version. i have a ps3 and a 50" Samsung DLP 1080p.

im wondering if spending the $20-$30 is going to be a noticable difference for getting the blu ray?

  1. The standard dev version of DVE contains test patterns and calibration video ... for the 1940's television standard.

I think it's worth it and I bought mine from Amazon for $18 with Terminator/T2.

  2. no. very minimal difference.

  3. The DVD version is all you really need. You may get slightly closer contrast and brightness with the bluray version because the lines will be clearer but I don't think you'll really see the difference in the finished settings.
