Hello Everyone! I have a Digital Wave Player (Olympus). I just got it yesterday to record my class lectures. It works great. However, I read it can send recordings as an e-mail and convert them to a CD.

Is anyone familiar with how to do this? The instruction manuel is usless. I really dont need to do this right this second. But it would be nice to be able to know how or IF this can be done.

Thanks for reading. I appreciate it!

  1. Hi Tony, I don't have your product but most wave, video, picture and other files are normally sent or converted to other formats such as Cds and/or Email etc by means of Exporting..  And in some cases, Save As..

Your program should have this under the file settings..  Look for export or save file as..  This should open up a dialogue that will give further options as to what format you would like to save your recorded file as.

Cds normally will use a MP3 or .wav as the file format and email can possibly use mp3 or wma and other small formats..  Just be aware to know your provider's email size limits and of coarse your connection speed..  Large email files are not recommended unless it is really neccessary..

I recommend copying your files to CD or flash card for easy mobility..  Good Luck on this..
