Digital cable signal converted to analog signal?

I have digital cable. I want to put a splitter on, to put one signal like normal to the cable box to the tv, the other to my tivo (which won't pick up digital signals, only analog) to another input on the tv. My question is do they make something that will convert a digital cable signal to analog so my tivo can pick it up? If so, where can I get one?

yeah, they sure do, its called the cable box. the way the signal is sent through the cable is an encrypted digital signal that the box decodes and sends to tv or tivo.  hope that helps.
