Any DVD camcorder will do. Since they compress the video to store on the disc more than any other storage media, you certainly can't be worried about video quality - or ease of editing... so it really does not make much difference which one you pick in your price range.

Later, when you want a real camcorder with decent video quality and easier editing, be sure to look for the LEAST amount of compression applied to the video and post your modified question...
