Question:

Digital camera chargers in france?

I am going on a trip to france in about a month through my school for 11 days. Now i was planning on bringing my digital camera to use. I got reallly concerned, though, when my teacher mentioned that everytime someone attempted to use their camera battery charger, it would burn out.. even with a converter and adapter. I was wondering if it is still true, even with newer ones.. or if i should look for another way of taking pictures. My camera does not have the option of using regular batteries, it only uses the rechargable one and i highly doubt one battery will last 11 days!!

  1. On your charger itself, there should be a label, if it says 110/220V 50/60HZ for input you should be OK. If it doesn't go to Radio Shack, they make an adaptor that will let you use your camera's charger in France.

Probably the best, and most expensive, way is to wait until you get to France, and buy a charger there.
