  1. Check this out.

I have had two sony cybershots that have stood up to kids dropping them, banging around in my purse, and whatever else. Mine(older model) takes excellent quality movies. If you want pix in front of the mirror just make sure the room is well lit and leave the flash off.

In my opinion Sony is a much better buy then Kodak.  I have a Sony, one of my sisters has a Cannon and one has a Kodak. My pix come out much clearer and better 95% off the time.

    Have fun!

  2. I actually use Sony Cybershot Cameras.

My dad works at Sony, so I know A LOT of their stuff, and I recently got a pink camera from Sony

There a little bit more expensive, but it's worth the money.

Most of them have a movie mode with audio, and all of them work well with the mirror.

    I have this one : http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs/stor...

    And, I am young..not a 20 year old, haha

  3. Go to dcresource.com and check out the camera reviews.

If you want something stylish, go with a Sony.

Good 'mirror pictures' depends on the ambient lighting. Turn off the flash when taking mirror shots as well (unless you're specifically looking for that effect).

  4. Kodak M753

    its what i have

    its a good camera

    very durable

    but yet still pocket sized

    rechargeable battery

    reasonably priced

  5. Umm... all advice that means nothing.

A 13 year old is going to put this cam in a purse, backpack, drop it, forget it, you name it. You want something like this.

Not the cheapest, not the best, but olympus usually gets solid ratings, and it's shock proof, water proof, crush proof, stands up to any kid.

  6. Sony Cybershot out performs similar cameras and is a great value. The photos are clear and crisp. The camera software and menus are easy to use and very helpful.

  7. Canon PowerShot 580. It's one of the best cameras under $150.

  8. nikon coolpix is your best bet.
