Digital camera helpp (:?

Question

I need a new digital camera, and I am stuck between two; Kodak Easyshare M863 and Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-W120. The Sont Cyber Shot is more, but that doesn't always mean it's better. I need a camera that can take good use, because I go to a boarding school & will use it a lot for trips. Not only that, but I want one that has a fast shutter time, (the last one I had which was an HP Photosmart had the worst shutter time ever.) & I just need to know which one would be better. I know the Kodak has more megapixels and is cheaper, but from what I hear (which I don't know that''s true), the Sony Cyber Shot has a good shutter time. I've read all the reviews for these cameras, but none of them are all that helpful, so please don't give me links to reviews. I need advice from people who've had one, or both of these cameras, or maybe know someone who does.

We have had our kodak easyshare for over a year now and we would'nt have any other...I've taken over 3000 photos on it and have downloaded on my computer. We also have the C7280-all in one-HP PHOTOSMART and it does a terrific job, however we've only had it for about 2 months now. we've never tried the cybershot. sorry we weren't much help for you but I really think you would like the kodak easyshare...   good luck!

i just bought a sony cybershot and the shutter time is good but i also own a canon powershot and the shutter time is amazing on that camera.
