Digital cameras...?

Question

I may be buying a digital camera in the future.

I want one that is $250 and under

Has a pretty good zoom

Has nice picture quality

And most important: Can take pictures fast.

The reason i need fast shooting because i am taking pictures of horses, and i need to be able to take them fast.

Any brand if fine, but i'm looking mostly at Kodak

Any suggestions? All appreciated! If you can provide links that would be great!

Look for a camera that has a "burst shooting" mode - that mode will fire off 20 or 30 photos in a really fast amount of time, making sure that you get the shot.

I'm not a fan of Kodak's optics...check out Canon, Nikon or Olympus.

Once you decide on a camera model, go to this site to make sure that you are getting the best deal.  They will do the work for you and send you the best price.

The Fuji FinePix S5700 has a 10:1 zoom lens, so it may be of interest for that alone.
