I have "rabbit ears" now and I can only pick up 2 of the local channels. Will the converter box help pick up the rest?

  1. Rabbit ears should work with the converter boxes & supply a better picture & more channels.  Radio Shack has newer types of indoor antennas, check their web site.

  2. I think that's about all you'll get. The other channels you probably barely get, if at all, in analog you won't get at all in digital.

So you're left w/ two choices to get "the rest": get an amplified indoor or an outdoor antenna and hope that pulls in the more distant signals solidly enough to get a stable digital image, or go with cable/satellite service.

  3. Your picture quality and the number of channels will most likely increase. With a digital signal it is either great or it's not there at all so any channel you pick up will look as good as it possibly can. You might also pick up "sub-channels" of the channels you currently get. My local PBS has a main channel (channel 7.1) and 2 sub channels (7.2 and 7.3) which run other programming from the main one.

  4. yes it will. you use the rabbit ears and the box in unison and it will greatly increase signal reception and picture quality
