Digital converter box with digital HDTV?

Question

I am frustrated with my HDTV because it cannot get NBC signals clearly. If I hook up a digital converter box with an HDTV, will it make a difference? Will it somehow mess up my HDTV in any way? I don't have cable; I only get channels over the air.

If you have an hdtv you don't need or want the converter.  The output of the converters in NOT in HD so your picture will be worse.

if you already have a hdtv witha digital tuner, all you probalbly need is a better antenna.  If you have a hdtv without a digital tuner, you will need a digital converter.  Antennas can cost as much or more than the converter box before rebate.
