Question:

Digital filming questions here. I am looking for editing software and a digital video camera...?

I would prefer a camera with a high resolution so I could zoom in and pan on individual frames, and I would like the option to do this post filming in the editing phase. I also would like to know of a software for windows xp that would be compatible. And last but not least, I would like this to be affordable as this would be decent hobby equipment say around no more than 1500 dollars.
