Digital projector screen switches itself back on after I've blanked it with the remote. Any ideas to cure it?

I've replaced the batteries in the remote, and cleaned the remote's "ray-window". I do the laptop projection for my church, in a hired school hall. We have other equipment which might interfere with it, such as microphones, but we have nothing new there, and neither does the school.

what do you mean by blanked it?

anyways a mic and audio gear should not mess with the video gear, they are safe even real close together.

If your projector works with IR, then you may have some IR source in the room messing with the projector...
