Question:

Digital television over the internet?

I currently have Dish Network as my cable provider, and was looking into digital tv over the internet. Can I pay the "one time low payment" they advertise and watch over 1000 channels? Are there any good movie channels on it (HBO, Starz, Showtime?) If any of this is true, which is the best company to get it through? Thanks

Watching TV over the internet can be free or you can buy a program or subscribe to a service.  However be careful, some pay services can be unreliable, you'll also need HighSpeed Internet.

Some of those offers for a one time payment for tons of channels are BULL, most people would agree these sellers are FULL of it.

To avoid getting scammed use a program or service that is reliable.  If they use a Windows Media Format this could be a red flag.

If you do want a one time payment for a ton of TV stations, go to (In America ) Ebay.com  or  (In Canada) Ebay.ca  and search TV on PC than look for a seller thats selling a bunch of programs.  I know one user was selling a 17 pack of programs that have Live TV Channels.  You'll also want to check the sellers feedback for your own protection.

But, just the same lots of it is a risk.

Before you get involved in the payment process you should also do a BackGround check on the company, unless your using Ebay.com.
