Digital tv help y does it have to be like this?

y do we have to have digital tv in 2009 thats so dumb we shouldnt have too! and we got it and it got rid of all of our other tv channels and snow we only have 4 channles we got qubo golf and to others that are g*y i swer! we cant afford satelite we r we gonna do

With Digital TV there will no longer be static, or channels that almost come in. Right now the digital broadcasts are not at full power, they will be better after 2/09. This is like saying why do have to windows for our computer. Well you can run a computer without windows Vista, windows XP, or any windows at all. You can run your computer with UNIX. In Feb 09 there are going to be more channels. The broadcasts will be better. The converter box will allow you to get the stations you lost by switching all over to digital already.

Just remember this is not what most people think. We are not switching to all HD TV's. All that is happening is the stations will broadcast in digital. High Definition is a digital signal but just because a signal is digital does not mean it has to be a High Def signal. These are two different things. Can you get a $20 converter box? I already bought one and it is not a big deal, it works, nothing special, but I am! I hope this helps, Good Luck!!

get a 40 dollar coupon and buy a converter box at radio shack. they are 60 dollars. so you pay 20. or...buy a digital tv.
