Digital video camera???

Question

ok, so im a young teenager and i wanna get a digital video for basicaly youtube kinda videos. i make about $20 a week but as of now i've got about $3 total. i wanna get a camera by the summer, but i wanna have some left over cash for the utilization of money. can you recomend a digital video camera(links would help a ton) and maybe editing software that doesnt cost too too much? thanks

I would suggest trying eBay. Some of the video cameras from a few years ago were quite good, and you might get one cheap as people upgrade to the latest models.

Normally I would recommend a mini-dv camera. That makes it easier to transfer your recordings to a computer.

But if you are only doing things for you-tube, you could consider an analog model if you can find some way to convert the recording to digital for your computer. To do this you would normally need a capture device. You might find an analog camera being sold with a capture card really cheap.
