Dilema on which car to choose?

Hi, im 16 and getting my first car soon. I want a two door, cute car. It doesnt have to be too cheap, but it can be too expensive either. I'd say the price limit would be under 35,000. Something fuel efficient would also be nice, considering my school is pretty far and gas prices are so high :( please help ! :)

wait, you want a "cute" 2 door, "fuel efficient" car?????  well there are not too many to choose from in that price range....especially fuel efficient.  Most 2 doors are meant to be sporty so they dont worry too much about fuel efficiency.  

I would say get a mazda miata.  But I woldnt even be looking for a 2 door in the first place.

ud be better off with a toyota prius.  looks ugly but ud save big on gas!

under 35 you can get a 350z or a s2000 or BMW 1series.. Or Audi a3 or volkswagen passat...

If you have 35k to spend and you like to ride in style buy the BMW 1 series. If you want to spend about 18k buy the Honda Civic coupe or the Scion coupe. As a rule these are the cars that young peole like yourself like. You are buying quality with style. The most popular color is silver, but red or  white is cool as well.

Since it is your first car I advise you to drive carefully. It takes a little while to feel confident driving. I suggest that you never follow another car too closely. Never change lanes until you are absolutely sure the lane is clear. Never forget to put on the signal. Last but not least, stay within the speed limit. Don,t drink and drive, and do not be influenced by your friends if they tell you to take chances. A car is a wonderful machine that can give you hours of pleasure; but with that pleasure comes responsibility for your friends and yourself.

hmm.. a 16yr old getting a 35000 dollar car?? im from a place where we work hard to make a lil bit of money. i been workin since i was 13. i dont mean to be a d**k n sry for assuming but i hate it wen ppls parents buy their kids expensive cars and buy all their close and do everything for them. parents need to get a grip. im 18 yrs old and i moved into my own apartment with my girl friend before graduation. i am kinda struggling but its nothing too tough. i am completly independent. i dont think u could do this. do u have a job? cuz i worked 30 hrs a week and went to school til i graduated. now i work 2 jobs at bout 50ish hours a week. why? cuz my parents taught me how to do the things necesary in life to survive. my advise? go get a job and work hard for ur money so u will respect ur car n treat it good instead of spending mommy and daddys money and ruining an expensive car. sorry for being a d**k.
