He also supported Indian Premier League (IPL) and said that it is not going to damage international cricket because it was only this year that the cash-rich league was organized right after the World Cup which made the schedule very hectic.
“Indian cricket has been doing well in all forms of the game. The oncoming West Indies, England and Australia tour will be another chance to prove that they are a great team. The IPL being held immediately after the World Cup is a rare occurrence,” Vengsarkar
added.
