Dilshad K. topples Ujjwal Prakash in qualifying round at All India Senior Ranking Tournament
India’s upcoming player Dilshad K. continued his impressive performance in Men’s Singles qualifying round he trounced Ujjwal Prakash and secured his place in main round of Anjani Devi Memorial All India Senior Ranking Tournament 2013 in Hyderabad, on Wednesday, January 23.
The impressive Dilshad, who remained unbeaten throughout the qualifying round, continued his staggering run on court and easily thrashed Ujjwal while consuming just 10 minutes in the arena.
It was a smooth ride for the in-form Dilshad, who was at his best form, and he did not face any considerable trouble at any stage in the match and won it with a stunning margin of 21-6 and 21-5.
On the contrary, Ujjwal failed to play attacking badminton at any stage in the entire battle. He could not control the pace of rallies against his in-form country-mate and eventually lost the match without even getting close.
Dilshad played with outstanding control in his strokes and managed to control the driving seat from starting rallies of the first set.
The phenomenal variations in Dilshad’s shots assisted him to continue his superiority against his challenger on court.
Dilshad did not show any sign of confusion as he remained in complete command of rallies until the end of first part.
