  1. These are the average dimensions of a cue. If you took a survey of pool players, I'd bet 98% of all players would have a cue in this range:

    Length 58" (NOT 57")

Weight between 18.5-20oz, with the most common being 19oz

Tip diameter between 12.75 and 13.25 mm, with 13mm being the most common (12mm is NOT common)

Of course, a custom cuemaker can build you a cue with just about any dimensions you like, and some manufacturers will make them slightly different. But if you started searching pool websites and asking people what they like, this is what almost everyone will say.

  2. thats impossible becuase a cue stick slims out towards the tip.  but most are 5 1/2 - 6 feet, 19-22 ounces and wood or graphite.

  3. While the standard Billiard and Snooker cues are usually about 58" in length with a range of weight according to personal preferance.

Billiard Cues are usually 19oz or 20oz with 12mm to 13mm tip

Snooker uses smaller lighter balls and usually is 16oz or 17oz with smaller 9mm to 10mm tip.

Official Cue limitations are as follows:

    WORLD POOL-BILLIARD ASSOCIATION - (WPA)
