MOSCOW of Russia. The venue of the competition was the “Podpromie” sports hall which was filled with a total of 4,000 spectators.

On the other hand, the coach of the Russian squad, Yury Cherednik, expressed his jubilation in the following manner, “Personally I didn’t expect that it would be so difficult for us to score this victory... This victory is very precious but honestly I’m
not satisfied with the quality of the play presented tonight by my players.”
