  1. yeah i think so..

  2. well,it would be premature to predict that especially since not only does she have to face azarenka first who's a brilliant upstart and will have absolutely nothing to lose, but on the other side of that she still has dementieva-and ivanovic and szavay haven't even finished their quaterfinal match. plus,as mentioned, there's the possibility of fatigue coming into play after consecutive, closely contested three-setters.

  3. well first of all, it could also be Savay in the final if she can beat Ivanovic...but back to the real question.

Safina has a great chance to win this tournament.  She has gained a lot of confidence, but has also had to work very hard in order to win her three set matches against Henin and Williams.  This is a double edged sword...she could be tired and loose easily to Azarenka, or she could crush the inexperienced Belorussian and go on to sweep the title.

She is in my opinion the top choice to win the tournament at this point, but she'll have to keep up the outstanding level of play she has produced as of late.

  4. No, she's like her brother.

Brilliant at times, but inconsistent, and sometimes problems with focus.

No surprise that she bet Henin or Serena, but would be surprised if she won the tourney.  I'm never surprised when she beats the #1 player or loses to the #500 player

  5. no
