Sri Lanka, on Wednesday, August 17, 2011, announced its 14-man squad for the fourth and fifth ODI’s against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746.
The hosts made a few of changes in their outfit by dropping Dinesh Chandimal, the right-hand batsman, and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/HMRKB-Herath-c1559, left-arm spinner, as they prepare to fight Aussies in the 4th match of the series,
which will be played at R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo on Saturday, August 20, 2011.
Both the cricketers have been dropped on the basis of lacklustre performance in the ongoing series. Another player to miss out was the all-rounder Thisara Perera.
Chandimal has scored a mere 17 runs from three matches against the Aussies, with a highest score of 12. The batsman has failed to produce a valuable innings in the last four games that he has played. Herath,
on the other hand, played just one match, but went for 57 runs from 8.2 overs.
Perera however, could consider himself unlucky as he was dropped without even having a chance to show off his skills.

Prasanna is yet to play for http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sri-Lanka-c758 at the national level but his track record at the domestic level is pretty good. The leg-spinner has played 56 First-class matches and has claimed 279 wickets at an

Sri Lanka is in dire need for a turn around. They are trailing in the five-match series by two games to one and need to win both games if they want to clinch the series.
The Lankans showed great fighting spirit when they defeated the Aussies in the third ODI by 78 runs. It took a special 111 from http://www.senore.com/Cricket/WU-Tharanga-c2802, which helped Sri Lanka set a huge chase for Australia.
A similar performance is required from the Lankan side if they are to tame the Kangaroos.
