What is a good place to dine out in Townsville?

try buffalo Joe's they have live bands on Friday nights, catus jack's, and if you like Asian food try the point, it has the most amazing view of the coral sea.....

i would have to say for:

Mexican - Catcus Jacks

Asian - Benny's

Fish and chips - Fulham Road fish and chips

Buffet - Aqua at Jupiters Casino

Pub - Bohle Barn

Italian - frank's pizza napoli

Seafood - Fri and sat nights at Aqua at Jupiters Casino

Waterfront dining - A touch of Salt

Thai - Thai-Thai

There are a lot more to choose from but my favourite would be the african restaurant in Flinders Street Zanzibar African.  They may be slow in serving but you know it is going to be good when you see big mumma out the back cooking.
