Spartak Moscow managed to earn UEFA Champions League qualification after securing the second-spot in the Russian Premier League table, as they edged past Lokomotiv Moscow by 2-0 at Lokomotiv stadium.
The visiting team managed to open the scoring on 23rd minute through Marek Suchy before http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Artem-Dzyuba-c6682 doubled their lead before half-time. Lokomotiv failed to get a goal during the second half.
In aftermath of the outcome, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Diniyar-Bilyaletdinov-c11318 has hailed his side’s fine performance against the Moscow-based club. The Russian midfielder congratulated the entire side after getting the Champions League qualification and
assured the fans of even better performances next season.
Bilyaletdinov, who has not played in the European tournament ever since leaving Lokomotiv for Everton in 2009, finds it really exciting to play in the most prestigious European tournament next season, and has urged his team-mates
to work harder.
“I congratulate the entire team for the silver medal. I think we had a wonderful season. Now, I cannot wait to play in the Champions League next season.” The Russian Cup winner was quoted as saying.
Though, Spartak had a below par start to the third league round, having claimed five points from six league outings, the Moscow-based club turned the tables after recording four wins in the remaining matches.
The Russian midfielder admitted that the Spartachi deserve to play in Europe after putting in a lot of hard work in the third league round.
Media reports suggest that former Valencia coach, Unai Emery, is set to replace Valery Karpin at Luzhniki stadium this summer. Bilyaletdinov confirmed Karpin’s departure, revealing that the Russian tactician said good bye to the
entire team after their latest win against the Railroaders.
Commenting on Emery’s appointment, the 27-year-old said:
"I don’t know about him much because I have not followed the Spanish manager for too long. All I know is that he had a good spell with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Valencia-c40863.” Bilyaletdinov concluded.
