The Russian tactician has high expectations from Bilyaletdinov as the player returns to Russian Premier League from Everton.
Spartak Moscow officially announced the signing of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Diniyar-Bilyaletdinov-c11318 from Everton FC earlier this week. However, details regarding the transfer fee and length of the contract are yet to be disclosed.
“The Moscow-based club have reached an agreement in principle with the English [club].” Read the official statement, without giving away much.
If speculations are to be believed, the 26-year-old signed a four-year contract with the Russian outfit in a 2.5 million pounds deal. The amount is less than half the sum that the Mersey side club paid Lokomotiv Moscow to acquire
the services of the veteran midfielder.
It was a nightmare period for Bilyaletdinov, who spend three unsuccessful seasons at Goodison Park.
However, the latest move is expected to earn him playing time on the pitch, thus increasing his chances of making it to the Russian national team for the upcoming Euro 2012.
Though Bilyaletdinov failed to find consistency during his English Premier League career, Valery Karpin believes that the Russian Cup winner will rediscover his prime form once he returns to Russia.
Spartak head coach praised the talented midfielder and revealed that he could use Bilyaletdinov on the right wing position.
“Diniyar is a highly skilled team player. He can play in central midfield and on the flank as well. I am delighted to add a Russian player to the squad after the foreign player’s limit imposed by the Russian Football Union.” The
Intertoto Cup winner was quoted as saying.
Speaking on the fact that Bilyaletdinov once played for their arch rivals, Lokomotiv Moscow, the former Real Sociedad player said:
“We have signed a player who played for Lokomotiv, a few years ago. But now he's in Spartak and will benefit our team. So, I am sure the fans will not be having in accepting him.”
Karpin revealed that, like all the Spartachi fans, he will help Bilyaletdinov find his prolific form back which had earned him a regular Russian national team role and made him a Russian Premier League hero.
