Dinner Party ideas?

I am having a causal dinner party and i usually make stuff that they can assemble themselves i.e. personal pizzas, pannis, salads. Anyways any ideas or recipes.???? Thanks.

hi,why don't you have a world food  night,you could even put up some meals that poorer people have to eat.only small ones,but that way i think it would make people appreciate what they have.

build your own burger bar or taco/nacho bar would be yummy!

why not have a salad bar dinner?

put out mescla, spinach and iceberg

and place all kinds of toppings out, including at least two different protiens (chicken or beef?)

for a fun twist, have a 'build your own cocktail' bar:

put out a bottle of rum, vodka and gin

put out several kinds of tonics, juices, mixers and soft drinks

don't forget garnishes: cherries, lemon, lime, organges, pineapple skewers, etc.
