  1. I think you should try Fire and Stone. It's in Covent Garden on Maiden Lane. They do really nice and unique pizzas at quite a reasonable price. My girlfriend and I have eaten there more than once and we're more than willing to go back.

They change their menu round, and I think it's seasonal, though not too sure, but definitely is different from my first time.

It'd be advisable to book in advance though, as it can get quite busy pre-theatre time. Their number is 020 7257 8613.

    Hope this helps.

  2. If you like Chinese, Gerrard Street is just around the corner, there are loads of restaurants there, and many are quite reasonable. There are also steak houses (Leicester Square), or good Italian restaurants just to the south (towards Trafalgar Square)

  3. There's this lovely Japanese place, called Tokyo Diner, along one side of China Town (parallel to Shaftesbury Avenue but cross through China Town), just off Charing Cross Road.  You can have sushi or hot food, noodle soup, rice with many dishes etc.  It's literally a diner style but so quaint, nevertheless.  The atmosphere is relaxing and peaceful and not pretentious, but the food is very fresh and tasty.

Great value for money without seeming like a cheapskate.  My son and I go for the sushi platter (most expensive dishes) at £19.50 per platter, but you can choose smaller versions as side dishes to share and order hot food each, approx ranging from £5.00 - £12.00.

Even if you don't go there next week, do try it next time you are in town.

    Have a wonderful evening!

  4. hello, I would recommend Maggiores in covent garden. THe most romantic restaurant I have even been to. If you take a pre or post theatre menu, the price is really not that bad! www.maggiores.uk.com

  5. Go to Cafe Koha, 11 St. Martins Court.

It´s behind Leicester Square Tube, near to the back entrance of Browns.

It is a good choice as it is slightly tucked away and not touristy.

    Bon apetit.

  6. go onto the offers page on toptable.co.uk and choose a restaurant with a good offer, but also with good reviews from toptable diners.  the offers change regularly.

  7. there are so many restaurants there.  Behind Leicester Square is China Town...in soho you find Italian Restaurants.  There are Indian, Greek  so many places.
