Dinning out in Mexico!?

I'm going to Puerto penasco in just a few weeks. I need some great places to have dinner while i'm out there.

The seafoods restaurants by the wharf are good.  El Presidente on top of the hill overlooking the ocean used to be great.

You should ask this question under Phoenix dining to get current info, I haven't been there in 5 years (moved to Calif)

I haven't been to Puerto Panasco but been to some other places in Mexico.  Your best bet is to go there and ask the hotel to recommend good restaurants.  Usually they have Hacienda style traditional restaurants (comparable with a posh steak house in the US)  at least in Mexico city there were some posh fantastic options.  Upscale Mexican food has nothing to do with taco and burritos we have in the US ... they have a lot of verity and I was surprised with some elegant dinning there.  Not in the smaller towns but definitely in the bigger cities.
