Dino Spehar in no rush to move on
Despite being one of the most scouted players in the world, Croatian youth Dino Spehar says he is in no mood to rush into a contract with a top European club.
The 16-year-old has been scouted by a number of European sides including Manchester United. However, he says he wants to stay at Osijek and get more experience through playing in the Croatian Premier League.
"I don't care too much about that [joining a new club].
I know that I'm still very young and have to work hard to be good enough to play outside my country," he said to
Jutarnji List.
Spehar seems determined to show a little loyalty to the side that has given him his break in the modern game. A lot of teenage players jump at the first sight of a contract
with a big European club but Spehar admits there is no other place he'd rather be playing football at right now.
"I am happy at Osijek, as this is the club that I love and support.
I also have a lot of developing to do, I am still very young and to continue to work hard," he added.
The youngster is also fortunate in the respect that his father is a very experienced person within the game. His Dad played for Brugge and Monaco and also went on to have
experience of playing at international level with Croatia.
This ensures that the youth will be kept grounded at all times and could explain part of the reason behind his decision to stay with Osijek for the foreseeable future.
"He is already being tracked by Manchester United and Bayern Munich,
but one thing is for sure. He will not leave Osijek until he finishes high school.
The truth is he is not ready to move to such a big club yet," added father Robert Spehar.
Betting advice
Spehar seems to be a very talented attacking player. Back him to be successful if bets on Osijek are possible. Also keep a close eye on the club he joins in the future.
Betting customers should always be looking for the next diamond in the dirt player.
