  2. Great big dinosaur

    with a great big head,

    Tell us what what happened

    why are you all dead?

    Your great big teeth

    and your green scaley skin

    sure looks scarey and

    so don't come back again!

(sung to tune of three blind mice)

  4. Here is a song for you.

    I'm a Mean Old Dinosaur

(Tune:  I'm a little Tea Pot)

    I'm a mean old Dinosaur

(Make a mean face, the kids make the cutest mean faces)

    Big and Tall

(Gesture hands big and tall )

Here is my tail, here is my claw.

(Gesture hands behind your back for tail and make claw hands)

    When I get all hungry

       (rub your tummy)

    I just growl

(have the kids exaggerate the grrroooowwwlll)

Look out kids I'm on the prowl.

(Here I tickle each one of the tummy and they all giggle)

For an activity: you could get some shapes made out of constrution paper and let them make their own dinosaurs. This would be fun if you made alot of wacky shapes.  Hope this helps.

  5. not sure

  6. a fun art project is a diorama. Get a box (any size) and put things in there about dinosaurs. It can be pictures, rocks, sand, sticks toy dinosaurs etc. they can each create there own with some items you would put on the table. they turn out really neat. My sons preschool did it and they then displayed them for all of us parents to see. Then they got to take them home.

  7. Have them color in pictures of dinosaurs and name them.

  8. Have them draw a dinosaur if that was them, let them pretend to be dinosaurs or talk about what they like best about them.

Try to sing these songs with the kids from this link:

I personally like this song because it add's kids creativity:

I'd Like To Be A Dinosaur

I'd like to be a dinosaur, dinosaur, dinosaur.

    And if I was a dinosaur, I would be a _________.

(Each child has a turn naming which dinosaur he would like to be)
