Diplomatic status?

I've read that entities such as the World Bank and IMF issue diplomatic status as a method to entice potential employees. What does this status grant you?

Well, it's not exactly diplomatic status, but working for an international organization does have its privileges. For example, they don't normally pay taxes in the country where they work, like here in the US. They can bring in foreigners to work in their house as domestics.
