Direct Buy?

Question

I was offered a job at Direct Buy as a Call Center Rep. Which means I try and get people to come in for a tour. And then I get 35.00 bonus per person that comes in and signs up for the membership.

I am feeling a little bit...weary about this. Anyone got any ideas, suggestions ect. Or have worked there.

I was also offered a job at Shoppers Drug Mart...which is sounding better and better.

It depends on what you want out of this job.  Is this a temporary job or a permenant job? Are you looking for income or just experience so you can move up the ladder later.  Can you be suave enough to get people to buy memberships?

I'm a university student.  I ain't going to last long working at the same place past summer.  Minimum wage + bonus will go great towards my tuition.  And if anything stuff happens, i'm just a student working for the summer.  That's my point of view as a student.

My parents got a membership at Direct Buy.  Never had any real problems other than long wait times for the products to ship in.  We normally buy small stuff like clothes, steam cleaner, and gift certificates (movies & restaurants) so not much of a scam oppurtunity there on us.
