Direct Inward Dialing Numbers for the United Kingdom?

Are there any services which provide geographical DID (DDI) numbers for the United Kingdom with a programmable voice mail and the option to call out from that same number? I am looking for something cheap (e.g. less than $5 per month for the number, and a 1-2 cents per minute for out going calls) if possible.

  1. Yes, there is:

    CallCentric

CallCentric provides world-wide DID's for 35 countries, including most area codes of the UK, including area 1865 (Oxford).  In the UK, "Unlimited Incoming" DID's cost $5.95/month.  However, in the USA/Canada, "per/minute" DID's are available for as little as $1.95/month.

VoiceMail is currently a free add-on product.  Includes e-mail notification and forwarding of voicemail attachments to your email address.

Forward incoming calls to any DID, phone, or cell number around the world.

Or, pickup calls with your own self-configurable VoIP ATA phone adaper on your HighSpeed Internet connection.  I use the Linksys SPA-2102-NA or the PAP2T-NA with a regular telephone.

Call-Out Termination rates to USA, Canada, UK, and most parts of Europe is only 1.98¢/min

Call-out with their free downloadable softphone on your PC, a configurable softphone like the 3CX VoIP Client by 3CX corp., X-Lite by Counterpath, or ExpressTalk by NCH.

    Or,

Callout with your configured ATA VoIP adapter mentioned above,

    Or,

Set your account as a Calling Card gateway and make VoIP call from regular phone, or Cell/mobile line using one of their VoIP Calling Card gateway phone numbers.

(e.g.: in London call 44-20-7099-2134 to access)

    Or,

Set your DID as the Calling Card gateway access from a local landline or cell:
