Direct Selling?

Is it tacky to sell in front of my house on my lawn? I sell handbags and on Mother's Day I sold purses in front of my house. I did it a few other times with no complaints and made a decent amount of money. This seems to be an effective tool, due to me living on a busy street.

I would like to give you an idea, if you are open to it.  I use to be a member at shapes fitness, which is a women's gym.  They had one day a month that was member appreciation day and people would come in and sell their stuff, like we had a pusre lady.  You could check into doing something like that, as well!!  Good luck, oh and if the neighbors don't mind, do what you have to do.  People have garage sales all the time.

it depends on if it looks professional to, how much traffic delay due to business as well.

I have a window display in my sunporch turned office.  People walking up and down the street can see the new products I have on display.

I think alot would have to do with the rules in your town.
