Direct tv channel guide?

my channel guide for direct tv says "TO BE ANNOUNCED" and has said this for the past three days. I did reset it on the third day and nothing resolved. Anyone know what else to do?

  1. I dont know. I had direct tv, but SKY bought it and now it is other sistem.


  2. I actually had that same problem, is it just saying that for the pay per view channels? The only way I got this fixed is to call directv and ask them to fix it.

    EDIT: This was all done electronically, don't need a technician or anything lol. I remember them saying it takes up to 24 hours to be in effect.

  3. Call the customer service.  Also, check where your satellite is and see if anything is blocking it.  It might be possible that it moved or something.  But definitely call customer care.  They will be happy to help as long as you are up to date on your bill.

  4. I know you said you reset the system but try this. Unplug the tivo for about 3 minutes then plug it back in. If this doesn't work check you signal strength in the menu's if any of the meters are lower than 89% then your dish is out of line and will need to be fixed. If you cant find the signal meter in the menu's just go through your channels if your not receiving all the channels you usually receive there is a good chance the dish is out of line.
