Direct tv question? insert access card?

I have no idea what an access card is or how to insert it. Help me fix the problem?

You need to insert it into your Direct TV Receiver then you can receive the Satellite TV signals and watch your Direct TV Channels programming. It operates in the same way as your credit card when you make a purchase in a store, or a bankcard in an ATM machine. Your Direct TV card has a unique code that allows the satellite receiver to decode the signal and turn it into sound and vision.You will also be able to use your DirecTV card to order pay-per-view programmed, by entering your PIN.

The access card is about the same size as a credit card. It contains a key which is nothing more than a long string of characters which must be inserted in the Directv receiver to allow you to receive a signal. On my two receivers, there is a small door on the lower right front of the box. The card goes in there face side up. The Directv tech, after he sets up your system has to call the number on this card in, which then allows your system to work.
