DirectTv help?

I just got direct tv and on the second day the tv with the DVR would work. It wouldnt show the channals, all that would show up is a white screen, then it froze! Whats wrong and what should I do?

Try pressing the reset button for the dvr. If you can't or don't know where it is, then unplug it and plug it back in.  It will take  a few minutes to reload all of the guide info, but if that doesn't work, then call directv.  New dvrs take a few days to set themselves up and load all the data - you occasionally will see a problem and need to reset it.
