Directing audio output from files or internet into microphone input?

Question

Okay, so i've got a computer telephone at tesco which obviously has output through speakers/headphones and an input from a microphone.

What i wish to do is have audio from a file or the internet redirected into the microphone input somehow?

That means that i could then A. hear the person talk B. Play audio to them without using an actual microphone.

I believe you could use a headphone to headphone jack.

Well what you do is use this cable and plug one end into the headphone jack and one into the microphone input
