An electic frieght train with 62 box cars is traveling North at 40 miles per hour, there is a South Easterly wind of 30 miles per hour. What direction is the smoke from the engine blowing?

  1. hopefully it's not on fire to be producing any smoke at all.


  2. Unless the engineer forgot to take off the handbrake there wont be any. Perhaps someone on the crew is smoking a cigar.

    And, the train is NOT electric, the locomotive might be.

  4. You should be asking "How long will it take to stop the burning train so the crew can evacuate?"
