Directions, anyone who knows Dublin, Ireland well?

Question

Can anyone tell me how i can get from Connolly station to Leeson Street. What number bus do i take and how long will it take to get there. Can a get a bus back that will drop me at Connolly instead of O'Connell st???

Also if anyone knows Blackrock well, can you give me directions on how to get from the dart station in Blackrock to Templehill. Is it far and how long will it take, do i need to get another bus or a taxi or anything???

As far as I know there is no bus that goes directly from Connolly to Leeson Street, you will have to walk down to O'Connell Street and take the 11,11a or 140. To get to O'Connell Street from Connolly Station the most direct way is to walk straight up Talbot Street, which then leads onto North Earl Street, and that leaves you right at the spire. When your on North Earl St. turn right at Cafe Kylemore (after the james Joyce Statue) and you'll find the bus stop there. The walk should take a little more than 5mins. The bus journey should take about 15mins but if traffic is really heavy it may be a little longer, The fare is E1.50 each way.

If you're really adverse to walking you could hop on the luas at Connolly for two stops (get off at Abbey St) which leaves you at the corner of O'Connell Street and just take a right turn at the central Hotel when you get off the luas to catch the bus (Im lazy so I'd get the luas)

Also if its late at night when your returning to Connoly Station I wouldnt advise you walk down Talbot st, do the luas option or get a taxi.

I'm not too familiar with blackrock but I know Temple road is at the end of Main Street in Blackrock, so I'm assuming Temple Hill is off Temple Road From Blackrock Station to Temple Rd is only about 5 min walk. from the Dart Station walk onto Main Street, talk a left up main street and walk to end of Main Street til you come to the juction of two roads, one will be Newtown Park Road and the other will be Temple road.
