Directions from nashville, tn to st.louis, mo?

maybe someone who has traveled this route recently could help me out. I understand that highway I64 is closed for construction but mapquest is still directing to use this highway. does anyone have any alternate routes? thanks!

I-64 is closed from I-170 to I-270, about a 6 or 7 mile stretch entirely within the St. Louis metro area.  This won't affect you getting into St. Louis.

If you are heading to the western suburbs of St. Louis, there are a few different routes you can take, I-55, I-44, or by taking I-170 up to I-70 and head out west to St. Charles.

It's made traffic here a bear during rush hour.

Edit:  You'll want to take I-24 to I-57 north, then I-64 west.  It'll be clear sailing on 64 until you're a good 5 miles west of the St. Louis city limits.
