I've thought about converting an F-body.  This isn't like an airplane model kit you just glue together.  You have to think about it, and make some design decisions.  

Also the 4th gen F-body's are a bit heavy.  You might want to consider a 3rd-gen F because they are lighter weight cars which had heavier engines.

Edit: F-bodies have plenty of room for batteries.  

* The engine bay in a 4th gen is HUGE.

* Where the gas tank was.

* The rear cargo area.

* Dead space inside the rear fenders.  

* Under the rear seats.

You'll probably exceed the weight limits before you run out of space for batteries.  Remember you want to shift weight back if you can.
