Director of a co-op preschool get paid?

I was wondering if a Director of the Co-Op preschool gets a wage? If it is non-profit, it seems there needs to be a paid staff, other than the teacher?

Does the Director need to have a child in the school?

What kind of a break do they get if they do have a child enrolled?

Thanks in advance to your responses!

  1. Well, non-profits still pay people wages for services.  Who knows how much this director gets paid?  It could be a huge range depending on a lot of variables.  The director usually does not have to have kids in the program but some do.  I have never seen this as a requirement.  The director already knows ece and teaching so they are the facilitator.  I hope this helped a little?
