Directv and The New TVO?

I have Directv HD receiver and i would like to get the New HD Tivo....but tivo is not provided buy Directv but i need to new are they compatible

If you get the HD DirecTivo (HR10-250 model), you wont get but about 10 HD channels, and in about a year it will be obsolete for getting any HD channels at all.  The HD Tivo is not mpeg 4 capable, which means it cant pick up the satellite frequency that Directv has most of their HD programming coming from with the new satellites having been launched.  You are best off to get the Directv Plus HD DVR (HR20 or HR21 model) so you can get all the channels.
