hey, so i am getting ready to switch to comcast because directv wants to charge me 300 dollars to upgrade to hd dvr..one i will never own,just lease. so i did some reading and found that i might be in a contract. we get our bill online so i went and read it all. i saw no date or anything stating how long i have a contract for? i have been with them for six years.i did get a directv dvr a year ago. but no one said anything about that extending any contract i may have.so where would i find my "contract" date on the bill or online.would getting a non hd dvr extend my contract?if anyone has any insight ..thanks.p.s i have tried calling directv but all i get is stall tactics and repeated where "why are you thinking of leaving us?" changing the subject along with attitude from the customer service people.
