Directv searches channels I don't get?

I have created my custom favorites to get rid of channels I don’t get from the guide, but when I use the search feature in the menu it still searches channels I don’t get. The channels I don’t get are gone from the guide, but I want to know how I can remove the channels I don’t get form my searches. Any ideas?

Does any one have an easy what for me to scroll through all the tv shows I can record. I was a tivo user and I was able to pull up all the shows I can record and scroll through them and pick some shows to add to my season passes.

The whole idea of the search is to check every channel to determine which ones you get.

The Direct DVR pales beside TiVo feature-wise.

You would just use the guide or search for shows to record using the search feature.  When you use the search feature, it will pull up shows from the entire guide.  There is no way to have the search feature only look for channels that are in your favorite channels list.
