Directx 9 problem..?

Why cant i play games on my pc?

i just got it reformated and it gives me this..

I did download directx 9. So why is it giving me this!!! Is there a way i can check?

get vista and a 9600gt grfx card

DX10 all the way

Ok your pc is far too old to have DX9 you can only support it lower versions.

run dxdiag and see what that tells you

(Start button -> Run -> type "dxdiag" & press enter )

Run dxdiag.

You don't need to get vista because DX10 is a SCAM.

DX10 is vista specific to force people to get vista.

This is called tying, and its illegal. There actually a suit building.

All DX10 can be hacked to enable DX10 options on XP because there is no technical difference between DX9 and DX10.
